Before I found copywriting, I was a poet (and still am sometimes). And before that, I wrote historical fiction. I’m obsessed with gaps in history and how people managed to get through them. There’s something powerful about people we make legends, but something magical about the people that were living in the background.

Outside of writing, I love watching horror movies. Ask me my favorite and I’ll probably tell you it’s a Disney movie from 1999. Lately, I’ve been noticing a connection between horror movies and advertising in the way they communicate messages; the signs and symbols that slip through to an audience.
